Your files never leave your device

The PDF Editor and PDF Password Protector on this site run entirely in your web browser. When you open a PDF, it is read and processed locally on your computer. Your files are not uploaded, stored, transmitted, or seen by us or any third party. When you close the tab, the file is gone from memory.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect personal information directly. We do not run our own analytics that identify you. The only data collection on this site comes from the third-party services described below.

Advertising and cookies

The tools load open-source libraries (PDF.js, pdf-lib, QPDF-WASM) from public content delivery networks (CDNs) so the tools can run in your browser. Your browser requests these files directly from the CDN; the requested file is code, not your document.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
